Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) is a medium-sized evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean region.  The essential oil  has an evergreen scent that is fresh, woody and slightly spicy.  The aroma is calming and relaxing. Traditionally, Cypress oil has been used as an astringent, a diuretic, to treat cellulite, and for treating excessive perspiration on feet and under arms.
