Cedarwood Atlas (Cedrus atlantica) is native to the Atlas Mountains in northern Africa. The essential oil has a sweet, fragrant, woody, balsamic scent. The aroma is calming and has been used to treat stress, acne, arthritis and as an insect repellant.
